About
hey there!
I’m Roisin
owner and creator
Sweet Eve Designs, is named after my youngest Eve. I was on maternity leave in 2020 and wanted to make some extra money. The “Sweet” part of the name came from the fact that originally I had planned to make cakes. One day I made a cake for a family friend and it was missing something. I had a Cricut as I previously worked with my aunt doing event planning and used it for simple table plans etc. I decided to whip up a quick unicorn cake topper. To my surprise everyone wanted to know who made the cake topper and no one mentioned my cake. That day Sweet Eve Designs was then born!
I went back to work full time in Adult Social Care and struggled to keep up making and selling cake toppers. My husband encouraged me to not give up my passion & use my skills to help others by providing tutorials and making content.
